A moral reference for atheists. That seems to be the purpose of" The Good Book " a work of English philosopher Anthony Grayling Clifford, who teaches at the University of London.
Without reference some deities or immortal souls, Grayling goes into the quest for a morality without God, in order to make human existence bearable. For example, instead of the 10 commandments of Exodus incomplete Grayling mentioned as secular principles:

2. Find the good in all things
3. Do not damage other
4. Think for yourself
5. Assume your responsibility
6. Respect nature
7. Give your best
8. Learn
9. Be kind
10. Be bold
